BIC pays over VND 500 Million in BIC Binh An insurance benefits to customer’s family in Thanh Hoa
On October 7, 2025, BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC), in collaboration with BIDV Lam Son Branch, held a benefit payment ceremony for the family of Mr. D.X.T in Thanh Hoa Province under the BIC Binh An insurance policy.
Mr. T had taken out a loan at BIDV Lam Son and, after receiving full consultation from bank staff, voluntarily enrolled in the BIC Binh An insurance product with a coverage amount of VND 500 million. His decision reflected a desire to protect himself and his family from unforeseen risks.
Tragically, on February 21, 2025, Mr. T passed away due to a traffic accident. Upon receiving the news, BIC Thanh Hoa promptly coordinated with BIDV Lam Son to visit and support the family, guiding them through the claims process to ensure timely and efficient benefit payment.
The total amount paid to the customer’s family was VND 505,873,315. This included the basic insurance benefit, which was used to settle the outstanding principal and interest of the loan at BIDV, with the remaining amount paid directly to the family. It also covered additional benefits such as funeral allowance and interim support during the claims process.
