Worker’s compensation insurance is designed to provide companies with solutions to cover for workers with unpredictable risks in the course of employment.

Subject insured:
All staffs in the working age as specified in the Labor Code of Vietnam, who are in working contractual relationship with employer.

Scope of cover and benefits of insurance:
BIC will indemnify the Insured against all sum for which the Insured shall be liable to pay compensation as specified in the Labor Code of Vietnam if any employee in the Insured’s employment shall sustain personal injury or occupational diseases arising out of and in the course of employment:
- Medical expenses (including hospitalization costs): up to the amount insured elected by the Insured.
- Full net monthly salary during medical treatment: up to time limit cover elected by the Insured.
- In case of death or permanent and total disablement (81% or above): 30 month salary (or more at the discretion of the Insured) if victim in no fault.; 12 month salary (or more at the discretion of the Insured) if victim in fault.
- In case of permanent and partial disablement (80% or less): compensation as per percentage of capital sum as declared in the Schedule.
